SUMMER WEEKDAY SOFTBALL

Registration will be opening soon for Summer Weekday Softball! We have teams for girls
in grade 3 (rising grade 4) through grade 9. 

For Wellesley teams, the emphasis in Summer Weekday Softball is on competing to the best of our abilities, improving skills, and simply having fun. The program is generally “open registration”, but there may be a limit on the number of spots for players in grade 3/rising grade 4. 

The season begins after school lets out and ends in late July or the beginning of August. Teams play 2 games per week as follows:

• 10U & 14U games are on Monday & Wednesday evenings
• 12U games are on Tuesday & Thursday evening

There are no weekend games (except for 14U which has a tournament the weekend of July 18-20). Practices are generally held on weekday evenings as well, although sometimes coaches hold optional practices on the weekends.

Home games are in Wellesley; away games are in nearby towns.

We realize that players will be on vacation during some weeks and that’s OK! But we expect players to be available for at least half of the games and to let us know which weeks they will be away.
