Accidents happen, but it is WYBS Board of Directors job to do the best it can to make our players, families & facilities safe for all. 

Making safety a priority can easily be overlooked in the day-to-day complexities of preparing and operating a Little League season, which is why it is so important to create a detailed Safety Awareness Plan. 

There are several standard requirements that must be included in the Safety Plan (ASAP). They include surveying the condition of the playing fields for any potential hazards, making sure the equipment used is in good working condition, safety protocols for when they is an injury or severe weather, etc. Every league chartered by Little League Int., is required to submit a safety plan prior to each spring season.
