OVERVIEW:

Game nights:

**You can register for as many game nights as you want.

Start time: 6pm - 7:30pm

Location: @ Kelly Fields, 116 Elmwood Road (Bates School)

Each session provides instruction and skill development to learn and practice baseball fundamentals.

Our teams are structured by grade and elementary school affiliation. We offer open enrollment each session so team rosters often vary. Based on attendance, we sometimes ask players to switch teams to balance rosters for a night, but never require them to.

Wellesley Youth Baseball is fortunate to have our program coached by The Terriers Sports staff.

Directed by Joe Roberts, a WYBS Alum, former Boston University baseball captain & Greater Boston League All Star.

Terriers programs have empowered local college and high school students to provide enjoyable, inclusive experiences to our town for over three decades.

Games are managed to maximize activity, and enjoyment for all. Student Coaches pitch and catch to maximize hits, action and fun! The game of baseball is challenging for many kids, and our staff strives to help everyone enjoy having fun playing baseball. Parents are always welcomed to assist our staff in any way during skill sessions and games. If interested in assisting just let the program director know at the session.

We are also proud to share that our teams are named after NCAA College baseball teams that WYBS and Terriers alumni now play for: Harvard Crimson, Duke Blue Devils, Virginia Tech Hokies and the Alabama Crimson Tide. While our programs are fun focused, we share with our participants that every kid has potential to excel in baseball and life!

WYBS will be providing Hometown Baseball shirts and a hat. Please have your child bring his/her glove, helmet and water bottle. If your child has their own bat, please bring it along, but we will have bats for those who don't. Most children will wear baseball pants, but they are not necessary.

We hope you enjoy the program and always welcome questions, comments and feedback
